I like dogs. A lot. Luckily I have many family and friends with pooches to paint portraits of. In this series I try to capture the pup's personality while using abstract color schemes.
I love simplicity. In this series I strictly adhere to black and white and I strip the subject to the core. I believe a simplistic approach allows us to see and appreciate the relationship between shadow, light, and shape.
I grew up in California. I fell in love with the diverse landscape. This series is inspired by a diversie array of memories ranging from catching waves at Newport Beach to watching the ash fall from the sky like gray snow during wild fire season.
